Schools on School Buddy is a new communication tool that schools can use to directly connect with the community. Every school on the platform has a unique shortcode that can be used by students to join a school directly inside of the School Buddy app. Once you’ve successfully joined a school, you’ll receive a customized dashboard and get updates from your school.
To join a school on iOS:
Tap the School tab in the bottom navigation
In the join text field, enter the shortcode provided to you by your school. A shortcode may be some like “SN3A”
If the provided shortcode is attached to a school, you’ll successfully be added as a member and your app will reflect these changes
To join a school on the web:
Click the School tab in the side navigation of the website
Enter your school shortcode and click Join School
